


Focus is back on the Home tab of the ribbon.

Next, I will press just the ALT key by itself and release it. I will press ESC several times to get out of the ribbon and toolbars. The second line down from the top of the screen contains the Upper tabs of the ribbon.The Ribbon Display Options sub menu contains the following items: Choosing your account submenu gives you choices that allow you to change your account photo and access your About Me, Account Settings, and Switch Account links. To the right of the title of the document are controls for your account and ribbon display options.To the right of the Quick Access Toolbar in the center of the first row is the title of the document.I will press ESC to get out of this submenu. The Customize toolbar button, where focus is now, contains the following items that you can quickly add to the QAT: The quick access toolbar contains the following default items: Save button, undo button, and repeat button. I heard that focus is on a Can't Repeat button that is not available. Once there, I can press LEFT or RIGHT ARROW to move among the items here. Next, I will press UP ARROW to move to the first line of the screen.That puts focus on the Home tab of the ribbon, since that is the initial tab that has focus when pressing the ALT key. To move to the top line of the screen I will first press the ALT key by itself.The top line of the screen has on the left side the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT), in the center is the title of the document, and a couple of other controls plus the minimize, restore, and close buttons are on the right side.The screen typically consists of the following areas beginning at the top of the screen and going down: I will open Microsoft Word on my computer.
